Ross Sampson is originally from Michigan,
but considers himself a “transplanted southerner.”
After graduating from Beecher High School in Flint Michigan,
Mr. Sampson joined the United States Navy and traveled the
world while serving his country.
After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Navy in 1990, Mr. Sampson relocated from California to Tennessee and enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University, where he received a B.S. in Political Science in 1995.
Mr. Sampson moved to Memphis in the summer of 1997 upon admission to law school. He graduated from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in December of 2000, and passed the Bar in February 2001.
Ross A. Sampson is a respected trial attorney in Personal Injury cases and Criminal Defense.
Mr. Sampson is professionally licensed in the State of Tennessee (2001), the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee (2002), and the Sixth Circuit for the United States Court of Appeals, (2008).
Mr. Sampson has experience in the personal injury arena and
has litigated cases in Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Mississippi,
Memphis, and various parts of Tennessee. Cases as varied as
simple slip and falls, to complex, multi-state/multi-defendant
personal injury action. Mr. Sampson has settled cases above
one hundred thousand ($100,000.00) and has an excellent track
record in this field of practice.
In addition, Mr. Sampson is Death Penalty Certified in the
State of Tennessee, and has experience with the Death Penalty
process in the Federal System.
